About The Position
NV5 is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets. We are looking for an Instrument Person to support the Survey group.
Requirements
- HS degree/diploma or equivalent
- TDS software a plus
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of surveying equipment
- Experience with Trimble GPS and robotic equipment
- Read a survey grade level
- Take level notes and drawing sketches
- Perform basic calculations
- Upload/download data to/from a data collector on a regular basis
- Maintain field equipment
- Stock survey fleet truck with supplies and maintain inventory
- Basic survey fleet truck maintenance (wash, check oil, etc.)
