The Instrument and Electrical Technician works under constant supervision to develop the skills required to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electronic instrumentation used to monitor or control oilfield service equipment. This role involves using a company-issued laptop or phone for communication and internal software programs, working from technical manuals and schematics, and learning radiation awareness. The technician will also operate light duty trucks, remain available for schedule adjustments and on-call duties, and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
