About The Position

The Department of Nutrition and Health Science invites applications for part-time faculty semester appointments to teach classes in public health, research methods, or nutrition/dietetics; face-to-face on the Ball State campus in Muncie, Indiana OR online. Original official transcripts and licensure/credentials in respective field of expertise are required at time of hire. The applicant pool will be used for up to one year from the posting date to hire individuals. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health informatics, or related ﬁeld from an accredited institution by date of appointment (for public health roles)
Minimum of 1 year of successful on-campus university teaching experience or related work experience (for public health roles)
Professional experience in research is also needed, such as work for a research study in a funded research grant (for research methods courses)
Master’s degree or higher in nutrition or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment (for nutrition/dietetics roles)
Minimum of 1 year of successful on-campus university teaching experience or related work experience (for nutrition/dietetics roles)
RDN required (for medical nutrition therapy courses)
Original official transcripts and licensure/credentials in respective field of expertise are required at time of hire.
Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
