About The Position

Teachers’ College invites applications for part-time semester faculty appointments to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Educational Studies. Areas of specialization include social foundations of education, multicultural education, curriculum and instruction, and secondary teacher education. Courses are held in-person on the Muncie campus. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Please note that applications will remain active for 1 year. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not hear from the department until there is a need to hire an instructor.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in education or related field from an accredited institution for undergraduate courses
  • Doctoral degree in education or a related field for graduate courses
  • Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • CV and three references
  • Successful completion of a background check and an education check

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in education or a related field with a specialization in secondary education or multicultural education.

Responsibilities
