About The Position

An Instructor is responsible for effectively educating and supporting students while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism.

Requirements

Strong subject-matter knowledge
Ability to accurately answer student questions
Ability to provide guidance, advice, and constructive feedback
Ability to identify and address student weaknesses
Ability to plan, prepare, rehearse, and deliver course material effectively
Competent use of training technology and equipment
Ability to teach as a primary or assistant Instructor when appropriately qualified
Ability to participate in Instructor orientation and course-material reviews
Ability to communicate clear, correct standards and practices
Ability to support continuous learning and education
Ability to promote impartiality, equal opportunity, and open communication among students
Ability to deliver engaging, clear, and concise instruction that encourages participation and independent learning
Ability to adapt communication and teaching methods to different students
Ability to demonstrate and promote safe work practices
Ability to serve as a positive role model
Ability to refer technical questions outside the Instructor's role to the primary Instructor
Inspiring, patient, dependable, and punctual demeanor

Responsibilities

Have strong subject-matter knowledge and accurately answer student questions.
Provide guidance, advice, and constructive feedback while identifying and addressing student weaknesses.
Plan, prepare, rehearse, and deliver course material effectively, including competent use of training technology and equipment.
Teach as a primary or assistant Instructor when appropriately qualified and participate in Instructor orientation and course-material reviews.
Communicate clear, correct standards and practices and support continuous learning and education.
Promote impartiality, equal opportunity, and open communication among students.
Deliver engaging, clear, and concise instruction that encourages participation and independent learning.
Adapt communication and teaching methods to different students so information is understood.
Demonstrate and promote safe work practices and serve as a positive role model.
Never provide false or inaccurate information; technical questions outside the Instructor's role should be referred to the primary Instructor.
Be inspiring, patient, dependable, and punctual.
Help maintain the company’s reputation, quality standards, and professionalism.
