About The Position

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio dedicated to introducing children to the world of art through classes, camps, and parties. They offer a positive, self-esteem-building environment where children can create masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with various art materials. The studio provides age-specific curriculum tailored to each student's needs.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in drawing, painting, color theory, and composition.
• A PDF art portfolio of 5-10 works or a portfolio website demonstrating the above skills is required with the application.
• Experience teaching or working with children.
• Comfortable leading groups and managing a classroom.
• Able to teach art techniques and build skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Art teachers, teaching artists, private art tutors, and/or art education students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
