The Instructor, Vocational Nursing is responsible for teaching, professional development, and service activities. This role involves keeping up with developments in the field, demonstrating high academic and professional standards, evaluating student work, and teaching at times and locations that meet student needs. The instructor will also provide access to students through various communication methods and evaluate learning materials. Additionally, the role requires maintaining competence through professional development, using effective teaching methods, and evaluating program curricula. Service activities include participating in college meetings, committees, and activities such as registration, student recruitment, and faculty selection. The instructor will also participate in college activities for students, business and community activities, and activities required for program and college accreditation. Finally, the instructor will participate in setting departmental goals, developing college budgets, and maintaining departmental affiliation agreements.
