About The Position

The incumbent is expected to engage in clinical care and/or scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine while contributing to the education and development of learners across a variety of instructional settings. This position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support departmental and institutional goals. Responsibilities may vary based on specialty, discipline, division, and programmatic needs.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. required.
General Surgery Residency Training.
ACGME-accredited cardiovascular surgery fellowship.
Eligible for Arkansas Medical License.
American Board of Surgery eligible.
DEA License or eligible.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

Provide coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care, community outreach, research, and instruction.
Perform various responsibilities in the areas of patient care, medical education, and/or research.
Perform direct patient care, medical teaching, and research collaborations.
Engage in clinical care and/or scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine are to be included.
