Instructor Therapist/Behaviour Therapist (ABA)
About The Position
Spark is an innovative, award-winning, inclusive and equity-focused organization dedicated to supporting clients with their healthcare journey. We are seeking Instructor Therapists/Behaviour Therapists (ABA) to provide one-to-one intervention in the home or community for clients in Prescott, ON. This role offers hands-on experience, monthly team meetings, and in-session supervision. We are looking for individuals passionate about working with individuals of all ages, particularly children and youth, who possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- At least 6 months working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or providing ABA therapy.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI (current certification).
- Smartphone with a data plan.
- Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months.
- Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Driver's License G class with access to a vehicle.
- Registered Behavioural Technician (RBT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one intervention in the home or community.
- Work with individuals of all ages, specifically in the children and youth population.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other Spark team members or community professionals.
