Instructor Therapist/Behaviour Therapist Our clients are looking for ABA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Working with us, you would have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the community and have access to monthly team meetings and in-session supervision.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in providing ABA therapy to individuals within the Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental populations.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI (current certification)
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
- Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in French and English
- Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle
- Registered Behavioural Technician (RBT) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one intervention in the home or community
- Work with individuals of all ages, specifically in the children and youth population
- Collaborate with other Spark team members or community professionals
- Provide ABA therapy to individuals within the Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental populations
