The Part-Time Instructor for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) plays a key role in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences to adult learners enrolled in our online programs.
Instructors facilitate curriculum content, support student learning, and connect automation concepts to real-world business transformation initiatives. This role involves teaching live online sessions, mentoring students, providing feedback, and contributing to a collaborative instructional environment.
Classes are delivered 100% online in a synchronous format.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in RPA implementation or automation projects
• Strong understanding of RPA concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with one or more RPA platforms: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism
• Strong knowledge of process mapping, workflow documentation, and automation identification
• Understanding of process mining concepts and automation analysis
• Prior experience delivering online or classroom training preferred
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant RPA certifications (UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism)
• Experience working on enterprise automation initiatives
• Exposure to business process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile or SDLC environments
• Ability to explain automation concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience mentoring teams or junior professionals

Responsibilities

• Deliver live online training sessions on RPA and business automation concepts
• Cover key topics including: Introduction to business automation and RPA, RPA tools, capabilities, and enterprise use cases, Identifying automation opportunities within business processes, Process documentation and analysis, Workflow creation and process mapping, Process mining fundamentals, Collaboration with RPA developers and QA/testers, Change management in automation initiatives, Real-world automation examples and industry case studies
• Provide hands-on guidance in creating: Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Workflow diagrams, Process maps and automation documentation
• Support learners in completing module-end projects and assignments
• Mentor learners and resolve technical or conceptual queries
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, or mock sessions when required
• Maintain session quality metrics and learner engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams on curriculum updates, delivery planning, and learner feedback
• Provide individualized student support during live sessions and scheduled office hours.
• Maintain regular communication with students regarding progress, expectations, and milestones.
• Respond to student and staff communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Evaluate student progress based on course deliverables and established grading rubrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and engagement.
• Identify and escalate academic or performance concerns to the Lead Instructor or appropriate staff.
• Support performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Adhere to institutional policies and instructional team standards.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and professional learning environment.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for students.
• Collaborate with instructional staff and program teams to improve the student learning experience.
• Represent the organization professionally when interacting with students, staff, and external stakeholders.

Benefits

• The anticipated pay range for this position is $55 – $60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
• This position is classified as Part-Time, Non-Exempt, and employees will be compensated for all hours worked in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
