About The Position

The Office of Graduate Education at OSU in Corvallis, Oregon, invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track part-time Instructors to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Dean of Academic Affairs. Applications submitted to this recruitment pool are reviewed on an as needed basis. Qualified candidates will be contacted when positions become available. Instructors may be needed to teach Corvallis campus and Ecampus courses in the following areas: graduate courses in Environmental Sciences (ENSC). The primary mission of the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program is to provide graduate education in Environmental Sciences. The curriculum encompasses most standard fields of the discipline.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in discipline appropriate to the field of teaching/instructional tasks.
  • Teaching or assistant experience at the college/university level.
  • Evident commitment to educational equity.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD in a discipline appropriate to the field of teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and teach graduate courses in Environmental Sciences.
