About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Construction Trades, the Instructor, Oil Burner Mechanic Program is responsible for the planning, instruction, evaluation, and reporting of student learning in Nunavut’s Accredited Oil Burner Mechanic (OBM) apprenticeship program (levels 1, 2, and 3), and the College’s OBM pre-employment program. The instructor also provides support in the delivery of the Housing Maintainer apprenticeship program. The successful candidate will have the expertise to deliver the approved curricula in both classroom and shop settings, ensuring safe and effective instruction that prepares students for employment and Interprovincial Certification.
