About The Position
The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester faculty appointments to teach applied music coursework in an on-campus environment. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and a documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality students on the collegiate level, exceptional creative/scholarly background.
- Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Teaching applied lessons, coaching chamber music, or conducting ensembles, along with other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.
