About The Position
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from the appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to ensure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Pay for this position is based on a 10.5-month contract working Fall and Spring semesters, beginning August 2026.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher
- Graduation from a CODA Accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Background in education (instructional experience)
- Administrative experience and professional experience in clinical practice
- Valid, unencumbered dental hygiene license (TX license preferred)
- Minimum of three years relevant work experience
- Meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs.
- Criminal background check required.
