This is a 9-month non-tenure-track position located on Tarleton’s main campus in Stephenville, Texas. Summer appointments are dependent upon need and funding availability. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work and teaching requirements indicate. May be assigned to teach at various campus locations or through approved instructional modalities, as determined by the institution based on operational needs. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The successful candidate will be academically qualified to teach undergraduate Business Communications courses and may teach additional courses based on background, experience, and departmental needs. This role supports high-impact teaching, student success, and career readiness by delivering a contemporary business communication curriculum that emphasizes professional writing, oral presentations, interpersonal communication, and emerging communication technologies. The candidate will demonstrate excellence and innovation in teaching, provide timely and constructive feedback, mentor undergraduate students, and contribute to the effective operation of the institution, including support of AACSB accreditation standards.
