Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Education
• At least 3 to 5 years of acute care experience in critical care
• Current New York State RN license
• ACLS and BCLS certifications thur AHA

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support Instructor Certification
• National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or Clinical Specialty

Responsibilities

• Identify the individual and collective learning needs of critical care cardiac nursing staff.
• Develop and implement course curriculum, incorporating evidence based practice utilizing learning platforms that engage learners.
• Actively participate in the orientation of members of the Nursing staff.
• Promote ongoing professional development.
• Actively participate in Nursing orientation program and evaluate staff competence.
