About The Position

The School of Engineering is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Mechanical Engineering. Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with a 4/4/1 teaching load, collaboration with local industry and service to the School, College of Computing, Engineering and Construction and the University of North Florida.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field
• A PhD is required to teach graduate courses

• Preference given to those who demonstrate a record of teaching experience or practice in their profession in a non-academic setting such as industry or government laboratories
