About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the JUMPSTART program, focusing on Videography. This role involves teaching Videography/Film classes within the CSN Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program at the high school level. The instructor will be responsible for developing syllabi and course materials, and evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies aligned with course outcomes. This position is part of a recruitment effort to build a candidate pool for potential future part-time instructor openings. Teaching assignments are contingent upon factors such as student enrollment and departmental needs. Requirements
- Applicants must be pre-approved by the Media Technologies Department-Videography and Early College Programs Office before submitting an application in Workday.
- Videography/Film industry experience - minimum 5 years.
- Experience using or teaching Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects software.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in videography/film related field.
- Previous experience teaching videography/film classes.
- Familiar with Final Cut Pro X software.
