About The Position

The Senior Instructor II will lead in developing coursework, conducting training and evaluating students based on project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of military training methodologies and project management principles. The ideal candidate will be capable of critical thinking, analysis, and possess superior ability to develop and integrate module content, materials, and media to meet deliverable specifications and support overall learning goals and objectives. The position also involves leading, mentoring, and managing a team of instructors in the development of multiple courseware products simultaneously, while managing multiple projects with competing requirements.

Requirements

  • Familiar with TRADOC Regulation 350-70 the SAT/ASAT process and Army program courseware development.
  • Capable of critical thinking analysis, training design methodologies and processes to maximize project benefits on the modern-day battlefield.
  • Superior ability to develop and integrate module content, materials, and media to meet deliverable specifications and support the overall learning goals and objectives.
  • Ability to track and communicate project status, identify and resolve issues, and work within budget.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively as a member and leader of a team, as well as independently.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and manage a team of 3-5 instructors in the development of multiple courseware products simultaneously.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects with competing requirements.
  • The Army Instructor Training Course – TAITC (or other military branch equivalent).
  • Systems Approach to Training Course preferred.
  • Associates Degree required.
  • Fifteen years’ experience; can be a combination of military and civilian experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Project development experience using project management standards and processes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
