About The Position

Bucks County Community College is seeking one part-time contracted instructor to teach a Healthcare pre-apprenticeship program that includes Phlebotomy (CPT) and EKG technician (CET) certification preparation (National Healthcareer Association). The program is approximately 12 weeks long and consists of daytime career training classes conducted Monday-Friday, involving both theory and hands-on lab work. The instructor will be responsible for teaching, developing lesson plans, maintaining student records, providing assessments, and managing necessary paperwork. Additionally, the role involves identifying and maintaining class supplies, materials, and equipment, and mentoring students in soft skills. The program is scheduled to start in September 2026 and will be held at The Center for Advanced Technologies, Epstein Campus, Bristol.

Requirements

High school diploma
A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field
Experience teaching EKG and Phlebotomy is strongly preferred.
EKG and/or Phlebotomy national certification (NHA preferred)
CPR/BLS Instructor certification required.
Knowledge of MS Office for email and recordkeeping.
Must be permitted to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
