About The Position

Begin a career as part of our team, utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps student. Instructors are responsible for the technical instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical trade goals.

Requirements

One (1) year of computer technology experience.
Must have certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirement.
at least one year of documented experience instructing or supervising in a professional office stetting.

Responsibilities

Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students.
Prepare related reports.
Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.
