About The Position

Module 2: Spin/Cycling Leads high-energy indoor cycling classes in both in-person and virtual formats, promoting cardiovascular health, endurance, and motivation. Designs dynamic workouts tailored to various fitness levels, incorporating music, pacing, and performance tracking. Must hold current certifications in one of the following: Schwinn, Spinning® ISSA indoor Cycling NETA AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) ACE (American Council on Exercise). Provides instruction to students and community members. Develops and presents the department with a curriculum that provides students with a full experience and is structured to accommodate all fitness levels. Sets up in preparation for and cleans up after each class. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Current certifications in one of the following: Schwinn, Spinning® ISSA indoor Cycling NETA AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) ACE (American Council on Exercise)
  • Required CPR/first aid certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience
  • Possess basic knowledge of fundamental subject area concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to apply in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus.
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of the class
  • Demonstrated basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of the community.
  • Must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.

Benefits
