About The Position

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool. The instructor will teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period. Responsibilities include preparing course syllabi, course outlines (if necessary), and related instructional materials. The instructor will also maintain student records, including attendance and grades, and participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested. Additionally, participation in student retention activities and maintaining student records in accordance with college and government regulations are required.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the specified discipline or a closely related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Master's degree (i.e., BA+5 yrs related professional experience).
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching college level courses is preferred
• Experience with distance education/online-teaching modalities is desirable
• Fluency in Spanish is desirable
