Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
Responsibilities
Teach and develop curriculum.
Create and deliver learning experiences that support students in achieving the learning outcomes outlined in the Master Course Syllabus.
Employ teaching methods to design and maintain an engaging and effective learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote growth and academic success.
Cultivate a classroom environment that reflects the college’s mission, values, and goals.
Participate in program and discipline activities related to curriculum development and implementation.
Contribute to program reviews and strategic planning by offering recommendations on curriculum, staffing, facilities, and equipment to support continuous improvement and future growth.
Engage in ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in the discipline, enhance instructional strategies, and remain informed about emerging trends in education.
Effectively integrate relevant educational technology tools into teaching.
Participate in department, division, campus, and college meetings and committees, supporting institutional goals and initiatives.
Maintain weekly office hours as required by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Perform other related duties as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
