POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Dean of Math and Sciences and the Department Head of Science, the full-time faculty member has as their chief duty the instruction of Human Anatomy & Physiology. Anatomy & Physiology faculty teach classes that are scheduled during the day or evening, taught in a variety of formats (online asynchronous, on-ground, and virtual synchronous) and terms (15 and 7-weeks) and at several different locations, including off-campus sites and local high schools. The faculty member is expected to facilitate the classroom instructional process, evaluate students, monitor and communicate progress to students and to the appropriate college staff members, utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) and appropriate online educational systems, assign mid-term and final grades, maintain attendance and grade records, counsel and advise students regarding academic preparation and career goals, work to retain students, maintain required classroom, and office hours.
