About The Position
MTC is proud to operate the San Diego Job Corps Center in Imperial Beach, CA where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. This role is responsible for academic instruction per approved curricula, providing training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with youth
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Computer proficiency
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year instructional experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide students with basic direction, instruction and assistance in designated areas(s) of instruction
- Administer and correct tests and maintain progress and attendance reports.
- Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the department.
- Ensure accountability is taken each period and report student absences promptly.
- Participate in student assessment panels, and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.
