About The Position

Team Carney is seeking high-performing Instructional Systems Designers with ADDIE experience to support a client program. The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) will design, develop, deliver, and evaluate a comprehensive asset forfeiture training program aligned with organizational mission requirements. This role involves managing a curriculum consisting of 5 courses (25–30 modules each) covering the full asset lifecycle, financial management, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in adult education with classroom facilitation skills to deliver practical, role-based, and performance-oriented training, in particular with the ADDIE design model.

Requirements

  • Current or obtainable Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, adult education, curriculum and instruction, or related degree (A graduate degree in education or related fields is preferred). In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least ten (10) years of work experience.
  • At least five (5) years of work experience with formal curriculum design and development techniques such as instructional design using models such as the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) framework; and course development for classroom and virtual instruction
  • Proven professional teaching and facilitation experience spanning both physical classroom and virtual environments.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Office and corporate productivity suites, specifically: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Visio (process mapping).
  • Expert-level hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Project (timeline/milestone tracking).
  • Familiarity or direct experience managing virtual sessions and tracking enrollment through MS Teams, Webex, and federal or institutional Learning Management Systems (LMS).
