Requirements

• Previous successful experience with children.
• Ability to communicate successfully with staff and students.
• Ability to accept directions and work in a subordinate role.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials.
• Provide ancillary instruction if required under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Act as a resource person concerning health issues for individual students.
• Assume responsibility for continuing own education and obtain consultation, supervision, and peer review as needed.
