Instructional Strategist - SPHS
About The Position
Looking for a certified and experienced Special Education Teacher for our High School Instructional Strategist position. Must have knowledge of special education regulations, timelines, and procedures. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills and an understanding of high school programming including transition planning. The desired candidate would have the following skills; the ability to lead IEP team meetings, problem solve, and demonstrate a passion for preparing student's for life after high school. This position also provides an opportunity to model, coach, and deliver professional development to all high school staff in order to serve student's with disabilities successfully.
Requirements
- Certified and experienced Special Education Teacher
- Knowledge of special education regulations, timelines, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of high school programming including transition planning
- 282 Teaching Certification required
Responsibilities
