About The Position

The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for the Academy at Kiley Middle School for the 2026-2027 academic year. SEZP, established in 2015, collaborates with Springfield Public Schools (SPS) and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to improve the outcomes for over 2,500 students in 8 middle schools. SEZP combines district-based education with the flexibility of autonomous school models, giving schools control over curriculum, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting, with accountability for student learning. SEZP's work is guided by three core values: Access, Belonging, and Opportunity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, and Associate of Arts or Science Degree or higher, or 60 undergraduate college credits, or Meeting or exceeding the State mandated score on the Paraprofessional Assessment or Work Keys Assessment

Nice To Haves

• BA Degree with Educator Licensure
• Experience working with special education students in education settings
• A passing score on the Work Keys Exams in the following areas: Workplace Documents: 5 Applied Math: 4 Business Writing: 3
