This position is responsible for maintaining the inventory of all district instructional materials and processing all instructional materials orders, including dual credit orders. The role requires adherence to the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession and all relevant rules and regulations. A key aspect of the job involves managing a computerized inventory system and acting as a liaison with various external entities such as NMSU/DACC, publishers, and the state book depository. The specialist will also manage instructional materials budgets for schools, prepare financial reports, and assist school personnel and parents with material-related inquiries. Additionally, the role involves managing the disposal of obsolete materials and ensuring accurate end-of-year inventory reporting.
