About The Position

This position supports the Principal and school leadership in implementing and evaluating the continuous improvement process. The facilitator will assist in aligning program goals and the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) with the district's vision and strategic direction. A key responsibility is coordinating and facilitating professional development and coaching focused on highly effective instruction, including areas such as literacy, student agency, goal setting, learning engagement strategies, and academic acceleration. The role involves providing direct instructional support to school staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling effective practices, coaching, and delivering feedback. Additionally, the facilitator will collaborate with school leadership to ensure improvement efforts align with the district's strategic plan and will serve on the school leadership team. Attendance at required district trainings and meetings is also expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or credentials required by the district.
• Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
• Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
• Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
• Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
• Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.
• Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Master's level preferred.
• Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching support related to highly effective instruction (literacy, student agency and goal setting, learning engagement strategies, academic acceleration).
• Provide instructional support to school staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
• Work directly with school leadership to ensure school improvement efforts align with Henry’s Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
• Serve on school leadership team.
• Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
