About The Position

Peraton is seeking an Instructional/e-Learning Designer. The Instructional/e-Learning Designer responsibilities include, but are not limited too: Collaborate with Instructional Designers and AV Instructors to conduct needs assessments and strategic e-learning assessments. Interview subject matter experts or conduct other research to develop instructional e-Learning content. Present and make recommendations regarding e-Learning course design, technology, and instruction delivery options. Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, and courseware standards and obtain client approval. Develop e-Learning instructional materials and products () for online courses for adult learners on a government site. Design instructional aids for stand-alone, or online use. Assess effectiveness and efficiency of e-Learning instruction according to ease of instructional technology use and student learning, knowledge transfer, and satisfaction. Review student feedback surveys and develop and implement course improvements to address feedback. Review existing instructor-led curriculum materials and recommend content to be transitioned to a blended-learning delivery method. Plan, design, develop, and implement online courses and training videos for hosting on the customer network or a Learning Management System (LMS). Train and mentor instructor staff on e-Learning instructional strategies and methodologies, course delivery techniques, and assessment validation. Review, maintain and update training and curriculum development e-Learning SOPs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years of experience with HS Diploma
  • Experience or military/eLearning development training experience.
  • Must have active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and PSD access.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE (or SAM or SAT) model instructional design methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience using one or more course authoring tools (such as Adobe Captivate, Premier Elements, TechSmith Camtasia, Articulate, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently. Be able to collaborate with teammates, government officials and stakeholders.
