About The Position

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and designing effective and engaging learning materials. You will analyze learning needs and utilize instructional design principles to create training programs, courses along with knowledgebase and In-Application educational content, ensuring the content is both informative and accessible. You will play a key role in ensuring instructional strategies are aligned with Team and Organizational goals, evaluating program effectiveness, and continuously refining content to meet evolving educational needs. Effective communication, creativity, and an understanding of adult learning theories are essential for success in this role. You will be a key member of a team that fosters a culture of continuous learning and innovation and will play a crucial role in driving the success of our products and users.

Requirements

  • Passionate about applying various instructional design models and learning theories to create effective educational materials and enthusiastic about helping purpose driven organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software training experience, or related fields
  • Office 365 experience | Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team member
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to utilize analytical approaches
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and techniques
  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs and curriculum development
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Experience creating and managing componentized content
  • Ability to translate content requests into deliverables
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all audience levels and group sizes
  • Ability to be self-directed and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency in e-learning and content tools, preferred (Camtasia, Adobe)

Responsibilities

  • Research and document content, information and details
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and identify learning objectives
  • Design and develop training material, including e-learning courses, instructor led training materials, job aids, and multimedia resources
  • Continuously evaluate and improve instructional materials based on feedback and data
  • Develop Curriculum
  • Write Knowledge Base articles, ensuring consistency of voice/tone across multiple applications of content
  • Ensure that learning materials are accessible and comply with relevant standards and regulations
  • Use comprehensive understanding of all audiences to further engagement and ensure value in all content produced, including Knowledge Base content
  • Inspire and foster continual team creativity and innovation
  • Prepare teams for operational release readiness
