As an Instructional Designer , you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive technical training programs in support of our federal client. You will work as part of a cross-functional team—including other types of design and technical experts—engaging with stakeholders and end-users to develop an effective approach and ensure adoption of new systems and processes. Contributions Responsibilities: Outline and understand end users to create training appropriate to meet their diverse needs Analyze existing training materials and business processes to identify learning gaps/needs and opportunities for improvement Conduct user research to determine learning content scope and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to structure learning paths Develop interactive and engaging training materials using a variety of modalities (videos, user guides, eLearning, etc.) with learner theories in mind (ADDIE, Bloom’s, Spiral Model, etc.) to create dynamic learning experiences Incorporate proper implementation of knowledge checks and compliance tracking Facilitate training development and delivery Establish metrics and measure user adoption Facilitate learning management system administration, usage, and develop feedback loops for enhancement Consider long-term governance for sustaining training programs and materials
