We are seeking a creative and analytically minded Instructional Designer to design, develop, and evaluate high-quality learning experiences. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and training team to translate learning needs into engaging instructional content across modalities (e.g. e-learning, instructor-led, blended, microlearning). How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Conduct needs assessments, gap analyses, and audience analyses to inform design decisions Define learning objectives, performance goals, and assessment strategies Develop course content, modules, and learning assets (e.g. slide decks, workbooks, videos, simulations, interactive media, job aids) Collaborate with SMEs to gather, validate, and refine content Select or configure learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools, authoring systems, LCMS) Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs (e.g. via data, analytics, feedback), and propose improvements

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with changing priorities
  • 1–3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Instructional design/e-learning development or Training & development
  • Ability to translate complex subject matter into digestible instructional content
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Tech savvy, with proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Products; general software aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiencywith developing e-learning training modules using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development systems and programs
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
