The Instructional Designer IV for Resident Physician-Scientist Development (RPSD) in the Health Science Campus Office of Research will lead and support the design, implementation, and evaluation of a pilot Resident Physician-Scientist Development Program at the University of Louisville. This pilot is intended to serve as the precursor and foundation for an NIH R38 program. This position will: Launch and manage the pilot program as soon as hired. Support recruitment and onboarding of residents beginning July 2026. Coordinate tracking and analysis of outcomes to inform and strengthen the R38 grant submission planned for October 2026. Continue to support the program after successful R38 funding, ensuring continuity of curriculum, evaluation, and communication. The Instructional Designer IV will oversee instructional design and curriculum development to build core competencies in clinical and translational research for residents pursuing careers as physician-scientists.
