General Summary: The Instructional Designer III, under general supervision, leads the development and support for classroom, hybrid or online courses. Leads and manages the development of training for faculty and/or staff in areas of instructional design, andragogy, and best practices. Manages and leads project work. Provides training and support to faculty and students on all instructional technologies, including but not limited to the WTAMU Learning Management System. Works daily to ensure that areas of Information Technology are in compliance with West Texas A&M University rules and procedures, as well as with the Texas A&M University System, PCI security standards, and/or other standards such as FERPA, copyright laws, and the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Texas Administrative Codes (TAC) 202.
