About The Position

Frontier STEM High School is looking for an Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The position's purpose is to support assigned teachers in the implementation of research-based strategies and curricula by demonstrating and supporting exemplary instructional practices. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Principal within the Academics Department, following an 11-month calendar.

Requirements

A minimum of five years of experience in a K-12 setting
Coaching/mentoring experience in a K-12 setting
Teacher certification

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Education preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct classroom visits to support teachers in classroom management and instructional strategies
Conduct pre- and post-conferences with teachers
Identify growth areas for teachers
Work with teachers on effective lesson plans and provide feedback
Develop strategies to reach district/campus student goals
Analyze school and district assessment data for each student group and suggest solutions to the campus administrators and teachers
Guide teachers on re-teaching or focusing on standards that students have not mastered based on assessment data
Provide one-to-one training to newly hired teachers
Conduct model lessons, when needed
Train teachers on effective classroom management and instruction strategies implementation, effective intervention strategies, and intervention programs used in the campus
Assist teachers to incorporate current technology into the classroom to produce better outcomes
Track the progress of teachers on the pace of the curriculum, professional growth, PBL implementation, grading policies, practices,Lesson prep and intervention plans
Ensure that teachers have the necessary materials and tools for instruction
Prepare campus reports on the implemented programs and services provided to teachers
Perform other duties as assigned.
