About The Position

Nurtury is seeking an Instructional Coach to conduct observations and program assessments using measurement tools in the classroom and to provide guidance on curriculum design and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; 5 years relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and training
• Teacher Certified by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) required
• Knowledge and skills in program quality standards and use of measurement tools in early care and education
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet/e-mail

Nice To Haves

• Lead Teacher Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to Program Directors on conducting program assessments in their program and maintain close communications regarding staff/classroom goals and progress.
• Utilize measurement tools to assess compliance with quality standards.
• Coach and guide educators in completion of child assessments and use of assessment data to guide curriculum planning.
• Provide monthly trainings for staff in Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) and Creative Curriculum.
• Facilitate monthly “lunch in a bag” mini trainings or discussion topics – remotely or in person.
