About The Position

This position is for an Instructional Assistant in the Resource Room program, working 5 hours a day for 9 months. The role involves supporting students within the Resource Room setting.

Requirements

• High school graduation or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• A valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
• Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization.
• CPR/AED certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
• CPR/AED certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component.
• Online CPR/AED courses will not be accepted.
• Upload a copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate into the application.
• Upload a high school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Upload a copy of a valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
• Upload a copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate.
• Upload specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as measured by a District-approved third-party administrator.

Responsibilities

• Support students within the Resource Room program.
• Assist with instructional tasks as directed.
• Maintain required certifications, including CPR/AED, throughout the assignment.
• Ensure all required documentation is submitted at the time of application, including transcripts, driver's license/ID, CPR/AED certificate, and evidence of training/experience.
• External applicants must complete a full three-year work history in the application.
