About The Position

The Instructional Assistant at Heritage Christian School provides crucial support to classroom teachers by offering focused, grade-level academic assistance to individual students. Responsibilities

  • Work with small groups or individual students on academic content
  • Reinforce lessons introduced by the teacher
  • Assist with differentiated instruction and interventions
  • Support assessment activities (e.g., guided practice, informal checks for understanding)
  • May help adapt materials for diverse learners
  • Collaborate more directly with the teacher on instructional delivery
