About The Position

This position is for an Instructional Assistant (GWM) with an assignment of full-time, 10 months, and 183 days. The role is effective with the 2026-2027 school year. The pay rate is based on the Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in a related position.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
• Must have met one of the following options: Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS
• Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position
• Basic reading, writing, and computation skills
• Good written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
