About The Position

Under general supervision, this entry-level technical instructional assistant position assists the teacher in a general education pre-kindergarten classroom by supporting students' learning and social skills development; assisting with classroom preparation tasks, such as copying and organizing materials; and provides supervision, instruction, and behavioral support for students with disabilities or severe behaviors.

Requirements

• Proof of passing the CBEST or having completed two years of college (48 units) or an AA degree or higher or must have passed the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date.
