About The Position

This is a position for an Instructional Assistant (ADA) inside a Youth Maximum security prison environment. It requires a special background check - at your own expense, on top of the district's background check, as well as annual TB testing. There is a restricted dress code and absolutely no staff are allowed cell phones in the facility - They have to be kept in your car or a locker at all times. This position also assists a teacher with light-duty tasks.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Light typing
• Organizing and moving classroom materials
• Lifting and carrying light items as needed
• Providing general classroom support to help the teacher with daily activities
