Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to assist in the instructional program.
• Ability to supervise students.
• Ability to prepare instructional materials.
• Ability to perform clerical duties.
• Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Experience working with children.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the instructional program under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
• Assists in the supervision of students in the classroom, on the playground, in the cafeteria, and on field trips.
• Assists in the preparation of instructional materials.
• Performs clerical duties related to the instructional program.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Assists in the supervision of students with special needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
