About The Position

This is a part-time Instructional Assistant position in a self-contained special education setting. The role requires the completion of Basic Training provided by the JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire. Additional training is available to allow for advancement to lane 5 upon completion within six months of the hire date.

Requirements

• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department.
• Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
• Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion.
• Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
