About The Position
This position is for an Instructional Assistant in a library setting within a school. The role involves supporting instructional activities and working with groups of children. The pay rate is based on the Instructional Assistant Grade C2 Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in a related position. This is a full-time, 10-month position for 183 days, effective for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
- Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
- Basic reading, writing, and computation skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
