About The Position
This is a part-time, permanent position for an Instructional Assistant I at Charles Peck Elementary School. The role involves working 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The position is part of the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule and is for a 9-month work year, totaling 206 days per year.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with groups of children.
- Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 to current).
- Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).
- Official transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units).
- Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher).
- If degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, coursework must be evaluated for equivalency to a degree/transcripts from an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
